Over the years I have written countless articles on plethora of different subjects. In particular, I have often written about foods I did not like or my least favorite Providence Restaurant.

Over the years I have written countless articles on plethora of different subjects. As a result of my endless negative ramblings about bad restaurants, crappy food and places that are not worth going, many of my fans have begun to speak out. Just the other day a fan wrote to me and said “Hello. Why are you so negative all of the time? Your pessimism is contagious and I find myself drifting into a dark cloud of depression before I have even finished your articles. My doctors and therapists have been completely stumped about my condition but I am fairly sure that your overwhelmingly negative articles about perfectly good foods and restaurants that probably are not nearly as bad as you say are the real reason for my daily struggles. Please get help so that I do not have to deal with you grim stories all of the time. Maybe you can try to find a silver lining in a situation for once. You could even try to stop being so impossibly critical about every single thing.”

 

            Reading this fans letter really woke me up about the affect I was having on others. I have decided that today I am turning over a new leaf. I am going to write about something that I like. I have found it surprisingly difficult to do this. I have spent so long writing about the worst sandwich in the world and the rudest server that I have ever encountered that I have forgotten what I really enjoy. I guess there is one thing that I genuinely do like. I am certain that I really like to eat chicken parm. I have good memories of eating delicious chicken parm as a boy in my favorite Providence Restaurant. There are a lot of different restaurants that serve this delicious dish so it is no surprise that you can find a lot of variations in quality from place to place.

 

There are certain things to look for in really good chicken parms that you will not find in every restaurant. One of the main things that set this fantastic dish apart from others is the way the chicken is prepared. A real classic recipe requires that the boneless breast be flattened with a hammer until it is flat. After this is done, it is time to use flour to bread the chicken. The best chicken parms are always very crispy and flavorful. It is important that the sauce used in the dish is also of the very best quality. The chicken parm is always served with marinara sauce. The way to ensure that the marinara is delicious is to make it with very fresh tomatoes and spices. Also, it is important to melt the cheese on the chicken once it is done cooking. Once you have the cooked and breaded chicken, the fresh marinara sauce, and high quality cheese, you have yourself a great chicken parm.
