Best Boston Restaurant for Happy Hour
As a food enthusiast, I am known for my articles detailing various cuisines from the indigenous meals of Indonesia to your neighborhood Providence Restaurant. I have discussed a number of recipes in details and I have even come up with a few of my own.
The workday has been a long one and your email inbox seems to have a mind of its own so needless to say Happy Hour is a blessing! You may have a favorite; you may even consider it the Best Boston Restaurant when it comes to your Happy Hour needs but there are many requirements that need to be met for that to be true. When I think about Happy Hour I think about cocktails, good music, and intelligent colleagues. Luckily, Boston is the breeding ground for all of these things.
The drink selection during Happy Hour is what we all look forward to and it is usually based on what kind of day we have had. If our boss decided to give us a last minute project that will eat up the rest of the night then we need something strong and slightly angry, which means it usually involves tequila and a bit of fruit juice. If we had a great day where we received excellent news and perhaps even acknowledgment for something we worked really hard at then it is time for celebratory drinks, champagne if appropriate and wine in all other circumstances. If it was a casual day and we decide to meet up with industry friends then why not enjoy a nice craft beer. The possibilities are endless and will make any day, good or bad, complete.
Something that isn’t always thought about but is still necessary is the selection of appetizers that we have at our disposal. When drinking, even if it is only a drink or two, it is very important to eat at the same time. Boston is known for having excellent appetizers and the Best Boston Restaurant will include Happy Hour specials that make these appetizers even more appetizing because of their prices. How can you go wrong with good drinks and good food, especially when you are getting a special price on all of it?
What is the point of going out for a drink after work if you can mingle with industry people that understand your nerdy jokes about the field you work in? This is where Boston has the upper hand. The Back Bay area has some of the most prestigious agencies and most people like to stay in the area after work to enjoy themselves. Because of this, there are more than enough places to go to where you can have an intelligent conversation with people that know what is going on in the world. Sometimes we all want to be able to go to a bar and not have to worry about less intelligent life trying to get a conversation started, it’s a hazard we all face on a Saturday night.
So as you sit at your desk, typing out your final end of the day emails, let your mind wander to the possibilities that Happy Hour has in store for you and most importantly, let yourself get excited! You work and you deserve to play hard as well and nothing should hold you back.
