I am a huge fan of Mexican food. Anything spicy, really. I just can’t get enough. So, when I go out for spicy, good Mexican food I go to Boston. Some of the Best Boston Restaurants serve Mexican inspired appetizers and entrees in a more casual Boston atmosphere.

I am a huge fan of Mexican food. Anything spicy,Best Boston Restaurants for Mexican Food Articles really. I just can’t get enough. So, when I go out for spicy, good Mexican food I go to Boston. Some of the Best Boston Restaurants serve Mexican inspired appetizers and entrees in a more casual Boston atmosphere. I prefer this to the brightly colored walls and mariachi bands of Acapulco’s Restaurant in Beverly. Boston has something the North Shore just can’t offer - true Spicy food lovers, the atmosphere.

If you are lucky enough to find a high quality Mexican restaurant, they will also likely have the best drink options. For example, New Moon in Roxbury, just outside of Northeastern University’s campus, serves all types of food, but their specialty is Mexican inspired. Their drinks are also Mexican inspired. Dishes such as tamales go perfectly with their Latin inspired sangria. And, the dish is nothing with out the salsas and sauces.

Salsas and sauces are staples in spicy or Mexican foods. I am a huge fan of any type of Salsa Verde. This is a green salsa made from almost ripened tomatoes and spicy jalapeño peppers. This salsa goes great on almost any dish. I prefer it on tacos, in burritos, or my favorite, in tortilla soup. This soup is spicy on its own. Made with the best flavors of any Mexican restaurant it usually contains chicken, tortilla strips sour cream and guacamole. As a spicy food enthusiast, I can tell you that any salsa will go just fabulously with tortilla soup. However, there is one that stands alone. Salsa con queso, cheesy salsa, goes fantastic with tortilla soup. I might suggest replacing the sour cream with salsa con queso and adding a dab of Salsa Verde on top for a little extra kick.

The Best Boston Restaurants for Mexican food will give their diners choices, like the ones I just described with soup. Some great spicy choices are different peppers to add to a dish and different sauces. I love jalapeño peppers in almost any dish, but I absolutely love the ghost peppers in burritos. A ghost pepper is debatably one of the hottest peppers served in restaurants. One bite of a plain pepper and smoke will be pouring from your ears. This delicacy is to be used in moderation. The tiniest amount will go a very long way in any delicious dish, and it will definitely not go unnoticed. This pepper is also great in sauces. Cooked sauces bring out the smoky flavors of all the greatest peppers.

Many Boston Restaurants work hard perfecting their own sauce variations. For example, New Moon combined a sweet cranberry reduction with their spicy salsa and cooked it down to make a sweet but spicy tamale sauce. This innovative cooking definitely entices customers. Many restaurants these days are experimenting with new sauces and spices to kick up some of their old classics. So, if you are in the mood for spicy, new food Boston will have every taste bud tingling sensation available. But, don’t forget a thirst quenching drink to save your taste buds for next time!
