Costa Rica Gourmet Coffee Drinks

Latte:

It’s a real easy one. Only two easy steps lead to a wonderful cup of latte. Fill the cup with milk, and add two shots of espresso. That’s it; serve it with a thick topping of foamed milk.

Caramel-Macchiato:

This is the hotty of the gourmet coffee dishes. Fill ¾ of the 16 ounce coffee cups with milk and add 0.25 ounce vanilla-syrup to it. Stir it well, now put in two shots of espresso. This delightful recipe tastes best with toppings of foamed milk and caramel sauce.

The same dish can be served in a different way. You can also add some crushed ice to it for providing a variation to the taste. This is called Ice Caramel-Macchiato.

Mocha

Mocha tops the dessert menu of most of the Costa Rican restaurants. You need to follow some simple steps for making the perfect cup of mocha. Pour the milk into the coffee-cup keeping a gap of ¼ inch; add two shots of espresso to it. Now there is the real trick, add 2oz of mocha syrup to the mixture. The mocha is ready for serving; serve it with a topping of whipped cream. Like the Caramel-Macchiato, Mocha can be also served with ice.
