At my first business trip to Nashville with a partner at my law firm, the partner came back and all he can say was “she ate a whole rack of rib by herself.” When I go out with my friends, I always get this “my gosh” look that I would finish everything that order. Usually, I can eat my plate and help my friends with their plate as well.

The hot and sour soup discovery

My favorite food is Chinese.   When I dine at a Chinese restaurant,How can you tell if a Chinese restaurant is good? Articles the first dish that I would look for is hot and soup.  Lucky me - hot and sour soup happens to be on every Chinese take-out menu in the United States.   I made this discover about hot and sour soup in Chinese restaurants when I went to college.  Now that I know hot and sour soup is everywhere, I need to find the best hot and sour soup.   To accomplish this goal, would order hot and sour soup at Chinese restaurants both for dine in or take-out.  I just love hot and sour soup.

As I ventured into more Chinese restaurants, I made another great discovery.  If the hot and sour soup is good, all the other dishes would be wonderful.  In most Chinese take-out restaurants, the chef makes a large potful of hot and sour soup everyday.   All chefs have their own special way of making the soup.  I can tell if when a chef puts his heart and soul into making that hot and sour soup.  Chinese cooking is an art.   As such, if the chef loves what he does, the food would be very yummy.   Next time you do take out or dine in at a Chinese restaurant, test out the hot and sour soup before you order.
