When you don't feel like eating out, consider making a pizza of your own at home. You just need a few ingredients and a little extra time.

Delivery or pick up are not the only two options for pizza. You can make your own version of your favorite meal at home. You don't have to be an expert and you don't need a ton of extra time. The Crust

You can always pick up some canned tomato sauce from the grocery store; just check down the pasta aisle. You can choose plain tomato sauce and add your own seasonings to it to customize the taste. Either way, it takes much less time to buy the base of your pizza sauce at the store.

Toppings

On of the best parts of making a pizza at home is the ability to add any of the toppings that you want. If you aren't a fan of pepperoni and mushrooms, skip them and toss on some of your other favorites. There are endless possibilities so give them all a try. There is nothing that you cannot put on your pie.
Make sure that you take into consideration the weight of the toppings when you go to remove the pizza. You want to be sure that you are going to have a good handle on it until it gets to the counter to cool.

Don't be afraid to take a risk. If your last pie turned out great, try something new. There is no end to what you can make in the comfort of your own kitchen.
