Milkshake Recipe: Cream Pie in a Glass

This cream pie milkshake recipe is created without ice cream, using delicious, wholesome goat milk, instead. Delightfully rich and refreshing, it will add a sweet, cool spot to a hot day!

Overall, goat milk is a great nutritional addition to most diets, and its sweet taste and creamy texture make it a wonderful ingredient in dessert recipes. It is full of nutrients, containing more protein, vitamin A, vitamin B6, niacin, calcium and other minerals than cow's milk.

Goat milk also has properties that make it easy to digest. In particular, the size of its fat globules are smaller. The absence of a protein known as agglutinin also means that the fat molecules do not clump together like the fat in cow's milk. Both of these properties enhance digestibility, and make goat milk extremely rich and creamy tasting.

Goat milk also contains a set of different protein structures, which means that some individuals who are allergic to cow's milk are able to tolerate goat milk.

The digestibility properties, combined with a lower lactose level, also allow some individuals who are lactose intolerant the ability to tolerate goat milk.

This milkshake recipe is just one of many recipes that can provide a great-tasting way to introduce "the other" milk and its health benefits to your family. Warning: It will disappear fast, so be ready to make more!
