This article talks about a video games party that we had and ate pizza at.

One Saturday afternoon my roommates and I decided that we wanted to have a video games party. We invited about ten of our friends to join us for the occasion. The plan was to play video games until the wee hours of the morning. There can be eight people total playing,Pizza, a Wonderful Addition to a Gaming Party Articles because each console can handle four people at a time. So everyone split into the groups and got down to killing aliens and each other.

I think that the most popular game type was the zombie one. So half of the group on the online play starts off as zombies and if you are a zombie, the whole idea is to infect the other players. The humans have to continually kill the zombies because the zombies just keep coming back. And the whole point as a human is to just stay alive until the time is up. Usually the zombies win by a lot. But there are a few times where a human finds a great place to hole up in and is able to shoot all of the incoming zombies. The zombies can be deadly and effective if the team gets together and rushes in at the same time. This will usually overwhelm the humans and will lead to the majority of the humans' deaths.

We started the party at about four in the afternoon, so after playing for a couple of hours, people were getting really hungry. Me and one of my friends don't really play video games, so we had been baking cupcakes. The delicious smell of baked goods probably just made everyone hungrier. And no one wanted to just eat cupcakes. Everyone wanted a little more sustenance than that. So a vote was taken, and everyone agreed that the cheapest and easiest solution was to just order pizza. We decided to get a large cheese pizza, a large veggie pizza, and a large meat lovers pizza to satisfy everyone's needs.

After the pizza arrived, it was right back to blowing up aliens. I enjoy watching people get headshots on aliens because they instead of exploding in a spray of blood, if one of the options is enabled, their heads explode in a shower of confetti and there is a cheering sound. It's so much fun and really exciting to play. I'm not very good at shooters because I haven't practiced or played much. My problem is that I can't seems to keep moving and also aim at the same time, a huge problem. Also, because I am not familiar with the maps, I am not aware enough to know where to be keeping a lookout and how to make sure that people don't sneak up on me. So all in all, when people force me to play, I get one, maybe three kills. A pretty pitiful showing. But I enjoy watching it all the same. It is exciting watching people hunt through maps for others and then get surprised when they find someone or someone finds them.
