Pizza for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Pizza is as versatile as it is easy to prepare and consume. You can have a savory or sweet pizza or calzone. You can even have some version of it for breakfast, lunch or dinner depending upon how much you love pizza.

If you could only eat pizza for breakfast, lunch and dinner how many options would there be, really? If you ever really loved it - or maybe you still do - you've thought about this question and its answer. To be honest, you've probably eaten a leftover slice or two of pepperoni in the morning, but there are many more options than the typical craving toppings to satisfy various meals throughout the day. Each meal usually consists of whole grains, proteins, vegetables and fruit of some kind. It would also be advantageous to include a dairy product as well. Don't worry there are ways to get in everything when it comes to the options that pizza offers to anyone creative enough to try.

For breakfast, you'd expect to have some type of egg dish, pancakes, waffles or pastries. With pizza you can have it all if you change the recipe and construction just a little. On one hand, as far as an egg dish is concerned, you can create an open omelet or pie with the dough, egg, and any selection of vegetables and meats to fill you up. On the other hand, the cake or pastry aspect of breakfast enjoyment can be found in a fruit filled calzone. Now that sounds like a couple of truly appetizing ways to enjoy an old favorite in a brand new way.

As far as lunch options are concerned, most people enjoy a sandwich of some kind at this time of the day. Those sandwiches include a variety of proteins and vegetables. This is when the typical pizza slice or two can come in handy or a calzone filled with the meat and poultry options that your favorite restaurant offers can make a satisfying meal. Then there is dinner time. This is the time of the day when most people want to enjoy their biggest and therefore most filling meal. This way they will sleep soundly and thoroughly that night. This is when the meal includes multiple parts or courses in order to fill even the pickiest eater. You can start with appetizers such as soup, salad, dips, and finger foods. Next, you can have a regular savory pie dough and sauce but cover it in typical dinner time meal toppings. You can finish it all off with any kind of pie, cake, ice cream, cookie, fruit or whatever seems like a suitable conclusion to your meal and the end of your day.
