We've all heard stories about men and women who are obsessed with one thing above all others and they must have everything that reminds them of that one object or activity. Pizza is associated with happy memories for all who enjoy it to this day. As a kid you were excited to go to the local restaurant or when your parents didn't cook and grabbed the latest advertisement or brochure and headed for the phone. As you got older, it became a meal of convenience when time and the contents of your refrigerator did not equal a meal in minutes or within hours. You grew to rely on the taste, ease of preparation, ordering for no cooking, and no cleaning afterwards. You knew that it would please everyone in a party situation, so it became your go to food. After a sporting event, concert, or impromptu get together you want to enjoy something quick and comforting. You can't order pasta or turn on the oven and have it in 30 minutes or less, so you turn to your reliable favorite and call it a night.

Hot food has always and will continue to provide an emotional hug to the soul. There is something comforting about someone bringing you good tasting prepared food, whether you know the preparer or not. Eating is required for living and if someone takes a step out of the process of providing nutrition to your body, it just makes you feel good. The delicious savory and sweet possibilities on top of freshly baked bread, sends the whole experience through the roof. It's no wonder this food is still at the top of so many lists as a favorite food of all time.
