When it comes to Indian food items which are not to be missed, “Rasgullas” from West Bengal, “Idli” and “dosa” from Kerala, “Shrikhand-puri” and “Poha” from Maharashtra, “make di roti and sarson da saag” from Punjab and Special “rajasthani thaalis” top the list. Indian food is characterized by the spiciest dishes to the sweetest dishes. These characteristics change according to the different regions.

There are also a number of Indian food restaurants which serve the tastiest cuisines from all over the India. There are innumerable vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian restaurants in India with good taste and best quality of food. Some restaurants are known popularly for a particular cuisine only. There are a number of Rajasthani food restaurants in India which have the best food taste. Rajasthani thali is famous all over India. The thali has mouth-watering food items. Right from the spicy curry to a sweet dish, you will find everything in the thali. Almost every food item is prepared in “Ghee”. Rajasthan is the desert land because of which there is scarcity of water. Hence, Rajasthanis prefer using more milk, butter milk, butter and ghee in food items to prevent more use of water. The most common food items that you will find in a Rajasthani thali are gate ki sabzi, balusahi, pakodi, dal-bati, laapasi, rabdi, churma, Ghevar, Nukhti, khaddi, matar ki sabzi, besan chakki, boondi and many more dishes. The Rajasthani thali looks so tasty that our mouth starts watering when it is kept in front of us. There are a number of Rajasthani restaurants which are also known as “Marwari Bhojnalay” which serve tasty and typical Rajasthani food.

Many other famous and delicious food dishes from of Rajasthan include Malpuas which is a dessert, Mawa kachori which is another sweet dish, Bajre ki roti with lasoon ki chutney, taarfini and panchkoota. Snacks from Rajasthan like the mirchi vada, pyaaz kachori, khadta kachori, bikaneri bhujia, Kothimbir vadi, bhelpuri and pappadum. There is no concept like “Dessert” in rajasthani food. They eat the sweet dishes right from the start of the meal to the end.
