When I think of summer, the first thought that comes to mind are thoughts of sweet summertime treats. Out of all the different icy treats out there, I think that the slush is my favorite. They even provide something for chocolate lovers in the way of their decadent Caramel Chocolate option. It is rich, sweet, and perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth.
For those of you that crave Gong cha’s delicious rendition of Matcha in frozen form, the Matcha Slush is the perfect option. It has an additional health benefit that makes it an easy choice if you are looking for an antioxidant boost. I, for one, am a huge lover of passionfruit and cannot get enough of the Passionfruit Yogurt option. It has tropical nuances that conjure up images of summer and fun.
Another notable attribute to these sweet summer drinks is the texture. It is creamy and smooth, which helps it go down especially easy. They have absolutely perfected the slush with their impeccable flavor and winning texture. They are so good that I would even drink them in the winter.
Above all else, these slushes are refreshing and that is putting it lightly. Gong Cha has long been my go-to place for Boba Tea, Matcha, and Green Tea. While I am obsessed with all of those drinks, there is just nothing like the frozen, exciting taste of their slushes. As stated above, they have everything. From the variety of flavor to the quality of the flavors to the creamy texture. When one takes into consideration how much emphasis Gong Cha places on quality, fresh ingredients, it is no surprise how delicious all of their summer drinks are.
They have spent years building a sparkling reputation and their slushes will most definitely contribute to that legacy. They are certainly doing everything right because it gets harder and harder to choose between all of their options every time I walk in their store. However, there are certainly worse problems to have.
