The essence and identity of a country is partly derived from its cuisine and flavours. Like the United States is known for its meat dishes and Indonesia is known for its zingy flavours,Veg restaurants - the start of a revolution Articles India is known for their communal vegetarian cuisines. India is a country that strives on diversity in culture, heritage, flavours and more importantly its spices. Veganism has been a part of Indian culture right from the Vedic period and people do not indulge that heavily in meat products. Hence Veg restaurants have been an eminent feature in the food industry and come out as no big surprise as people in certain communities worship the animals as a sacred blessing of God. Worldwide though, veganism is a recent phenomenon where people have forbidden consumption of meat or poultry in protest of killing animals for food. As the issue has gained depth, millions of people are converting into cent percent vegans. These restaurants serve food that include fruits and vegetative produce along with spices, condiments and flavoursome additions that will enrich the food in every possible way.

Family restaurants on the other hand, have a cuisine that blends different flavours and ingredients that suit the taste buds of every family member. As the customers differ in age and culture as well, a host of dishes are produced to benefit the diverse palettes. The assortment of dishes is what makes this place a hotspot for families to visit. The ambience is created to endure warmth and serenity that can be enjoyed by the consumers. The hospitable service and the lavish delicacies add to the list of advantages. These restaurants strive on the families that visit and created a menu as per the preference of the consumers. The key to understand here is that customers are the priority and using this factor, these restaurants run their business in accordance.

One of India’s communal vegetarians is the Gujarati clan that strives on meatless meals. Gujarati food is prepared from all products that are available in nature and do not resort to animal killing for meals. This form of cuisine balances the sour and sweet components available in vegetative products and fruits by combining them with the right proportions of spices, herbs and ‘masalas’. Their food is light and healthy without compromising much on taste. For instance the Gujarati community substitute chicken for goat cheese or Paneer (Cottage Cheese), which obviously is a healthier way of cooking. Though their diet lacks protein but they compensate the loss by adding substitutes that have the same effect on the body.

Veg restaurants have created healthier options for individuals and on a commercial scale this method is gaining momentum worldwide as well. Gujarati food is a common example of tasty vegetarian food that is attracting people from all walks of life. Family restaurants on the other hand provide all the choices to the consumers owing to the difference in taste buds. These restaurants have become a part of family tradition and a place where a family can sit together and enjoy a meal.
