In my last few articles I have confronted the fact that most of my previous writing has been incredibly negative. In fact, it has been so negative that people were writing to me and complaining that I was having a negative effect on their lives.

For those of you who are just joining us I will take the first few minutes of your time to update you about my experience at a Providence Restaurant. In my last few articles I have confronted the fact that most of my previous writing has been incredibly negative. In fact,Writing About a Providence Restaurant Articles it has been so negative that people were writing to me and complaining that I was having a negative effect on their lives. This was a stunning realization because as you may know, I hate to hurt people. I set off on a quest to start writing about positive things instead of my regular negative garbage.

My first attempt to write positively involved me sharing my love of chicken parm. The article was a successful foray into the art of writing about positive subject matter. In my most recent article I shared about my struggle to write a happy article. Because I was experiencing writers block I decided to go for a stroll down the street in an attempt to clear my head. I strolled aimlessly for some time. I grew more depressed by the moment. My fans had clearly stated that if my content continued to depress them they would boycott my writing. This was unfathomable because it would eliminate my livelihood and push me into poverty. I certainly am not living the high life but I definitely did not want to give up my apartment, my German Shepherd Charlie, and most importantly my old-fashioned typewriter that I love so dearly.  As these depressing thoughts swam through my mind, I was suddenly jarred out of my dismal mood by a man in an overcoat.

I walked into him because I had been lost in thought. He was standing in line for a food truck along dozens of other peoples. The assembled people represented America from black to white and old to young and everything in between, the line was a regular melting pot. I was wondering why a food truck, and not a Providence Restaurant, drew so much attention until I was hit by the smell of frying onions and roasting meats. I immediately jumped into line as I was overcome with a ferocious hunger. This food truck was big and blue with yellow letters and a spotless kitchen. Two men and a woman worked tirelessly to feed the assembled masses. My eye was drawn to the burritos people were carrying away from the register. They did not look amazing but I had a good feeling that they were better than they looked. Finally, it was my turn to order. “Give me a steak burrito with all the fixings!”

I practically shouted at the surprised Providence Restaurant cashier. My hunger and anxiety were getting the better of me. I slammed a few crumpled bills onto the counter and told her to keep the change. She told me that I was five dollars short. My bills all turned to be ones. I was kind of embarrassed but I acted like I was not. I Pulled out more money and gave it to her with a little less enthusiasm and then I stepped aside and waited for my awesome burrito. My spirits were soaring as the anticipation of my delicious burrito built. Please stay tuned for my next entry when I discuss the eating experience.
