Best Carpet Cleaning Solution for Easy Removal of Dirt

Dirt can be quite the headache for many carpet owners. It can sully your beautiful carpet and make it look old and dirty. This is an even bigger problem if you have light colored carpet since dirt can really be visible.

Getting dirt out of carpet is not all that difficult but some people still have a hard time finding effective removal methods. Whether the method is natural or artificial, cleaners must be generally safe.

If you are one of these people then here are two effective products that you can use to combat dirt in your carpet.

Vinegar-Water Solution - Vinegar is one of the best solutions for removing dirt and stains from your carpet. Vinegar has cleaning qualities as well as deodorizing properties that work great on carpet stains and odors. Vinegar is also inexpensive and can already be found in many homes all over the country. With vinegar and water you can make your own cleaning solution to get rid of the stains in your carpet caused by dirt.

To do this, mix one teaspoon of vinegar with a cup of warm water and place the solution inside a spray bottle. Then, apply the solution to the dirt-ridden areas of your carpet and allow the solution to work for a minute or two. Blot the areas with a clean cloth or towel. Reapply the solution as needed and continue this process until your staining is gone. Rinse the areas with some clean water and then dry them thoroughly. This should take care of most normal discolorations from dirt.

Household Detergent - Household detergent is another effective cleaning agent that you can use to combat dirt and stains. It is an effective product for getting dirt out of your carpet as well as your clothes. When using household detergent on your carpet, make sure that it does not contain any bleach. The idea is to remove the dirt from the carpet, not the color of the carpet. You can use household detergent in the same manner as vinegar, by mixing a teaspoon of it with a cup of water, thus creating a cleaning solution. Simply apply the solution onto the soiled areas of your carpet and then blot using a clean cloth. This solution works great and can get rid of most ordinary stains caused by dirt.

If you have dirt or dirt stain problems on your carpet then go ahead and grab some vinegar or household detergent. These are inexpensive products that are easily accessible, and work very effectively in removing the dirt from your carpet.
