Sometimes we fail to read between the lines. The rest of the world was able to read what America's real involvement in Iraq was all about.

How much loss of American lives is President Bush personally responsible for in Iraq? There is much speculation as to the real reason we entered Iraq to begin with. Our target was Osama Bin-Laden. The United States knew Bin-Laden was not there. President Bush dragged the United States plus some of our closest allies into a war that should never have been started. President Bush used the guise there were weapons of mass destruction to get his foot into Iraq. We know this was not the case because no evidence of WMD's was ever found. He caught the American people off guard while they were at their weakest point (still reeling from the 9/11 terrorist attack) to seize the opportunity to get Saddam Hussein. We do know there was a personal vendetta between the Bush family and Saddam Hussein. When the elder Bush was president Saddam Hussein called him a "Wimp." Now let's move ahead to that morning in December 2003 when America got the news Saddam Hussein had been captured. America was caught up in such a frenzy that Bush was reverend a hero and won re-election. These are the words the elder Bush told in an interview with Larry King Live sometime later concerning the capture of Saddam Hussein. "My son called me that morning and said,Machination By A World Leader Articles I told you I would get him for you."  Do you denote a smug sense of personal satisfaction in that remark? If in fact this was the case then I feel President Bush asked our brave young men and women serving in our Armed Services to pay much too great a price to protect the Bush family name. And wouldn't you agree?
