Let's face it! For many years publishing companies have all but closed their doors to new writers. Unless you were lucky enough to have a reputable agent or someone like an established best selling author recommend you,New Writers Here Is Your Chance To Get Published Articles your manuscript didn't stand a snowball's chance in hell of getting read by an editor.

Now along comes computer publishing and "Presto!" One no longer needs to deal with the hoity-toity snobbery of big publishing houses to get their work published.

I recall the 100s of times I sent my manuscripts to different publishers only to have them returned unopened along with a rejection notice saying "Sorry we are not looking for this type of material at the present time. Good luck and keep trying."

I must issue a few words of caution though to those of you who are new to Internet publishing. With Internet publishing also comes Internet fraud. Beware of anyone promising to get you and your work discovered by big time publishing houses for X amount of dollars. This just doesn't happen. They start by telling you how great your work is and then tell you they have a chance to get your book published in this calendar period, but you must act quickly. This is where they ask for money to help defray the costs of taking a chance on publishing a new author. Keep reading this article. You will be glad you did.

I searched the Internet and found Internet publishers who brought my books from a draft manuscript to a published novel at a cost of nil to me. As a matter of fact my last 4 novels were published at no cost to me. They still used the same quality paper and covers as the big publishing houses and I still have a choice of paperback or hard cover with them. The only thing I didn't get was an advance check for my book. That is ok because I still receive royalty checks on my book sales every 3 months.

Even with big publishing houses you still have to do a lot of the promoting of your book on your own. I promote my books via the Internet, newspaper articles and radio and TV interviews. This has led to book signings, which lead to sales and recognition as a published author for me.

I continue to use the Internet to do most of my advertising because it works quite well for me. Maybe this is what you are looking for. I'm not allowed to advertise, but you can get a sample of my books with previews by visiting my website. Just use Yahoo search engine and type in Author Wayne Bryant.  Good writing to you, Wayne Bryant.
