Intervertebral discs are ligaments that attaches to each vertebral bone. These intervertebral discs are like little pillows that work to absorb shock between the vertebral bones they connect to. These discs have their special makeup,A New Way to Receive Annular Tear Treatment Articles which consists of the annulus fibrosus (fibers that surround the outer edge) and the nucleus pulposus, the center that is soft like jelly. The outer ring is the strongest part that and what attaches to each vertebral bone. The fibers of the annulus fibrosus are what helps the most in distributing pressure for each intervertebral disc. Therefore, the jelly-like center of the nucleus pulposus is the phone case of the disc, absorbing shock from every day activities.

Unfortunately, like every other part of the body, these intervertebral discs can be injured by rupturing or tearing on any section, whether it is on the outside of the inside. When the outer ring of of the disc, the annulus, tears (without spilling any of the nucleus), it is called an annular tear. Because this outer ring of fibers is surrounded by pain receptors, the tear can become very painful very quickly. Without intervention, the tear will actually heal on it’s own, but like the rest of the body, often will develop scar tissue where it tore and healed. Because it already has proved prone to tearing, the chances of additional tears is common at this point. Tears that heal on their own and re-tear are also likely to cause additional problems in the future.

So what is to be done as far as annulus tear treatment? The majority of options for a bulging disc in lower back or a herniated disc in lower back used to be prescription pain killers, subpar results-driven surgeries, and just dealing with the pain. Dr. Kevin Pauza has revolutionized a way for those with annular tear pain to get their life back and live pain free again. It’s called the Discseel treatment.

Discseel first started with because Dr. Pauza realized he kept receiving patients that were in worse condition after getting surgery elsewhere. One of the most exciting facts about Discseel is no patient who receives the procedure has had there condition worsen.

It works by Dr. Pauza using something called fibrin, a substance that is naturally occurring in the human body. The damaged discs are then injected with fibrin throughout the spine, from cervical to lumbar, when necessary. This fibrin works to actual seal the disc (hence Discseel) and makes the body re-grown it’s own disc tissue.
