Autism Treatment – Why it is important to take a biomedical approach.

I’d like to cover just some of the reasons why I feel that biomedical interventions for your child with Autism are very important. The biggest reason why I think biomedical interventions are important is from the standpoint of most children that I have seen, and other physicians like me have also seen, tend to have underlying medical issues that are contributing to their Autistic condition. Of course we know that not all people with Autism spectrum disorders have their diagnosis solely due to medical disorders or medical conditions. I have over a decade’s worth of experience in working with thousands of families from across the United States and all around the world and not once have I not been able to help a child with some form of a biomedical treatment approach. A biomedical treatment approach can take many forms like heavy metal toxicity treatment, dietary therapy, supplement therapy, using medications in different forms to treat things like yeast and bacteria, working on digestive issues, and so on.

Parents have a lot that they can do and that means a lot of choices to be made and much information to be sifted through. I consider it very important for parents to see how much their child with Autism can be helped through biomedical treatment protocols. Children can see gains in many areas such as social ability, they can have better language skills, they can have improvement in focusing and attention, and their overall cognitive awareness can be improved as well.
