This is part 2 of the series on inositol and Respen-A blended chord. Inositol has been recommended in the past for use in individuals with OCD and anxiety and is a remedy that have been around for a very long time. But some children have very good success with it,Biomedical Autism Treatment – Respen-A blended chord, Inositol and Autism part 2 Articles and others not at all. And it has been observed in some children that the straight use of inositol results in a negative reaction. More than likely this negative reaction is due to the fact that serotonin release is bolstered as the inositol has an effect on brain glucose sugar metabolism. It has just been the last couple of years that we have even known much about the serotonin metabolism in children on the Autism spectrum.

Monoamine Oxidase A tends to be a problem area for many children with Autism spectrum disorders, and we know this through the work of Elaine DeLack and the other folks at Respen-A. And so a useful remedy can be something like Respen-A to help aid with this, and this is something I have seen in my practice clinically as well. So if you are considering using Respen-A blended chord, you should know that the recommendation is to use inositol with it. Of course there are also instructions on dosing that will come with your prescription directly from Respen-A. And for more information you can always find Respen-A on Facebook and my website autismactionplan.com also has more information on Respen-A in the biomedical protocol section. And you can always access me through the parent forum of autismactionplan.com for daily questions which I will answer.
