Just like any other cosmetic surgery there are those don't agree with breast augmentation. How you handle these situations as well as the people that cause conflict for you is important.

Not everyone is thrilled about the idea of a breast augmentation. Unfortunately some of these individuals in your life may be vocal about their concerns and issues. No matter what policy you adopt as far and handling these matters, the key to a successfully rid yourself of these comments is consistency.

Pretending You Can't Hear Them

Telling children to ignore people that say mean things is a common idea for parents. The hope is that the offenders, when they don't receive any attention, will just disappear and get tired of causing problems. As an adult there is a chance that you will run into a similar situation with those that just don't understand or like the idea of your new breast augmentation.

Not justifying their comments with a reply is just one way to get the comments to stop. Whether you enjoy acting like you can't really hear them or you make it clear that you choosing to ignore them, unlike children, adults usually get the message. Over time the opinions will fade and you will no longer be subject to anyone else's judgments.

Direct Confrontation

While it may not be your first chose, directly confronting those people that are running your enjoyment of the new breast augmentation is a possibility. With your new look you should feel not only confident by empowered by the changes that you have made to your own body. Let this confidence overflow and let these people know that it doesn't matter what they have to say.

You can deal with it a friendly tone and request that it stop or just directly bring it to their attention and tell them that you don't appreciate it. Many adults, when confronted with their actions will shrink back into the corner and avoid bringing the topic up again. This can let you breathe a sigh of relief and get you back to feeling on top of the world.

Regardless of how the people in your life react to your decisions it is important to keep perspective. When you made the decision to have breast augmentation you only had yourself in mind; and rightfully so. Let these comments fall to the wayside and appreciate the choices that you have made. One of the best ways to get rid of problem people is to be confident in yourself! When you feel great there is little that they can say that will make any difference to you.
