But there are many things you can do to help speed up the healing and recovery process of a hemorrhoid while also preventing the event of forming future hemorrhoids. The first step is to properly understand what a Hemorrhoid is.

A Hemorrhoid is a condition typically caused by an increased amount of pressure either on or within the anus, or some measure of agitation created on the anal passageway walls either externally or internally.

Hemorrhoids can be caused by many different other conditions some of which being;

Constipation – Constipation is backed up stool often caused by dehydration or lack of proper nutrients in ones diet. Constipation causes pressure on the anus trapping veins while also contributing to anal wall agitation causing a hemorrhoid to form, while also having the ability to worsen the hemorrhoid over time if not treated properly and delicately.

Vitamin Deficiencies – This can in most cases be cured by investing in vitamin supplements normally vitamin E, and after some time the hemorrhoid will heal on its own.

Pregnancy – During pregnancy a woman can experience hypertension which causes constipation, due to the rapid change in weight of the baby typically occurring towards the end of a pregnancy. Pregnant woman are also more susceptible to vitamin deficiencies and eating disorders, just about any pregnancy symptom can contribute to the formation of a hemorrhoid, making the best cure for a pregnant woman to exercise often, drink lots of fluids, daily pre-natal vitamins, along with eating healthy and properly.

If a hemorrhoid becomes too painful or itchy the best thing to do to relieve the pain is to take a decently warm bath at least once a day, it will help the blood flow even out causing the hemorrhoid to reduce in size by thinning the blood causing it to flow more easily. This can also help if you are experiencing a hemorrhoid which is trapped by a muscle or backed up stool cutting off the blood flow to and from the hemorrhoid itself.
