Do not eat papaya when pregnant
In many homes, papaya is strictly forbidden for pregnant women. It is believed that having papaya brings early labour. This can be true. Papayas contain latex in high proportion which is a substance that brings about uterine contractions. The unripe or the semi ripe papayas are even more responsible for this.

They also increase the heat in your body and thus, should be avoided particularly in the third and final trimester. But ripe papayas can be taken during pregnancy. They are rich in vitamin C and other nutrients such as vitamin C. It is very helpful in preventing the onset of pregnancy complications such as constipation and heartburn. Ripe papayas mixed with honey should be given to pregnant women to help in their lactation.

Do not eat pineapple when 
Pineapple is also forbidden by many people during pregnancy. This fruit is rich in bromelain which softens the cervix and leads to early labour. But that happens only if the pregnant woman drinks pineapple juice in excess as that can lead to diarrhoea. Having pineapple in moderate quantities will not have any bad effect on your labour and delivery. Nonetheless, you should avoid having pineapple in the first trimester to avoid softening of the cervix. Many women are of the opinion that having plenty of pineapple juice would induce labour and this can be used as a method of inducing labour.

Grapes
Even grapes are not recommended for pregnant women during pregnancy. The excess heat content of grapes causes a lot of problems in them.
Whatever you want to eat or avoid, this is a given that first you need to make sure that the fruit that you have chosen to have is not contaminated and unwashed.
