The Fit Fem Review of the Coconut Diet: There are so many diets out that so many nutritionists,Go Nuts for Coconuts Articles doctors, experts and other people promise to help you lose weight. Some even make diets up to get you to buy from them. Those people are EVIL! They'll do anything to make an extra buck. They will manipulate you and brainwash you to expand their wallets. Seriously not cool! And females are the ones most likely to fall for the fake health benefit and weight loss claims. It's cool though…I can understand why.  It's hard work to lose weight and there are some women more than others that have a super difficult time doing so. I am one of them, so I can relate. And how could you not fall for the claims, they promise you the world. These diets promise slim legs, flat abs, tight buns, and thin arms.

The Coconut Diet claims to be better than traditional diets to include low carbs. Ok, sure, we know carbs turn into fat. Well what about the fat from coconuts? We know that monosaturated fats are essential to a healthy body and what better way than to replace the highly refined harmful fats with coconut fat.  So no, the creator of the Coconut Diet is NOT evil! There is definitely truth to how coconuts can help you lose weight and I explain why here.

By all means, if you want to try something new for your diet then you can try including coconut with your meal or snack. There have been statistics that show this food helps in weight loss. A coconut helps in reducing abdominal obesity which makes it a good diet aid as it reduces abdominal bloating. It doesn't just prevent abdominal obesity but obesity itself because it has the ability to stimulate thyroid function which is also related to cholesterol. Cholesterol is one of the things in our body that make us fat.

So why do I say , "go nuts for coconuts"? Then these are your answers:

• Cancer fighting food
• Lower cholesterol
• Good body builder
• For kidney and urinary problems
• Good diet aid
• Good for constipation, diarrhea and other gastrointestinal problems

Other than the coconut fruit, the coconut oil is also used because of different reasons. The oil is known to be good for the hair and scalp so it makes it healthier. It is also used to treat cuts, scratches and burns.

We've known this fruit, also known as the "tree of life" for so long but we do not know its benefits and advantages.  If we knew from the start that it prevents obesity, surely we would've been eating coconut for years now.  This fruit also has vitamins and minerals like iron, calcium, niacin and Vitamins A, B and C.

Alright, take this advice with a grain of salt. I'm a super proponent of coconuts. However, there still are mixed reviews. How could I say that? I just bragged about this fruit to death. Well as with any other food, each individual is different and each person responds to food differently.  There have been mixed reviews with coconuts in regards to weight loss.  You cannot take away from the fact that this fruit has a very high fat and calorie content (yes, it's good fat, but fat is fat when you over consume and when you over consume, you literally get fat). And the fact is, coconut oil has more fat than butter and lard. But that's still ok, but it's much healthier than the transfats in junk foods.  Moderation of coconut consumption is imperative here. So for all the ladies out there, who are on a diet, try a coconut. There are so many benefits you can get from it. Go nuts for coconuts, in moderation, of course.
