In the economy that we have here in 2011 it is obvious that there are a lot of jobs that are available for men and women who are either a physician assistant and who are nurse practitioners. The point and the thing that is most important is that we all know how to find those jobs that we need, and there are many different methods for how you can do this as you searching for that job. Since you are a health care worker it could get extremely hard to go to work all day and still try to find that job, even on the weekends health care workers are on call.

Because this is the case, what you need to do is find someone who is currently a recruiter for physician assistants and also nurse practitioners, and you need to make sure that this is their specialty. The best way to find one of these recruiters is to talk to other physician assistant who may already have done this before because obviously they can refer you to the right person to find you a job. A lot of nurse practitioners and physician assistants have used a recruiter to get themselves a job, and they can most definitely help you do what they did.

If you don’t want to go and do that then you can always get in contact with your national associate and they can talk to you about what positions are available in what areas. Even though there are many different associations this doesn’t mean that there are going to be some that are going to pay recruiters but they will still refer them to you even though the recruiter isn’t on their payroll.

All you need to do is get the number of recruiters you’d like to have down to at least three and then call them to see what they can find for you. Another method that you can do is to get in contact with your local NP or PA associations in your city and see if they have any available job opening that you can capitalize on. What you really want to do is make sure that you at least spend  an hour or two a day looking for the physician assistant job you want because obviously the more time you spend looking then you will probably find at least one job that you can get.
