Actually,Jeff's Acne Story Articles I had an great childhood, my parents are very happy together and have a good job. I always have been able to do what I wanted, without worrying about fighting parents or lack of money. Actually, I never really had problems with myself or my surroundings. Until my thirteenth ... It started with some blackheads and small pimples on my cheek, which hardly struck and basically were just annoying because occasionally they hurt a bit. But I was getting more and more, and I quickly began to irritate me with the nagging feeling on my cheek. My appearance wasn’t a problem yet, but that would also change. When I was about 14, I wasn’t very happy anymore. All those pimples and acne on my face lowered my self esteem. What I did is the dumbest thing a man can do... I squeezed them. It did not took a long time, before I noticed that squeezing was a BIG mistake, the red spots were only getting bigger. At school my ‘friends’ called me the pimple head of the classroom. I could forget having a girlfriend. The girls were there, but my face looked awful and dirty. When I heard this (some girls do not really pay attention when they are talking), I started to wash my face over 5 times a day. Again, this was not a clever move, because my skin dried out and got even more irritated. I got a little depressed.

It was at this time that my parents decided something had to be done. My mother bought all sorts of cleansers, creams. I think I tried them all. Nothing seemed to help, so my parents eventually took me to the doctor. He said that acne is normal for my age and advised all kinds of products which I already tried and did not work. The doctor also did prescript some antibiotics to see how my skin would respond. The results were very good, I almost got rid of my pimples. But after a short period, they came back and I went back to the doctor. He told me I could not continue using antibiotics and he gave me some sort of cream. This did not work as well as antibiotics, but the pimples were less then before

Because I had less pimple, I got more confident and….I had a girlfriend. Of course this did not last very long. Occasionally I had periods where the acne came back strongly and I turned 'ugly' and 'dirty' again. I washed my face every day (not too) and regularly used the cream that the doctor gave me. Then the breakthrough! ‘Acne free in 3 days’. The acne was gone in a week!

My advice to people with acne: do not give up! Look for solutions, because there is something that will work for you! For me it is ‘Acne Free in 3 days’, maybe for you it’s something else. Do not stay depressed and disappointed, because where there's a will, there's a way.
