On the contrary, mastectomy rates dropped by 17 percent in non-participating females aged from 40 to 49 and 13 percent in non-participating females aged from 70 to 79. Bernik warned that the significance of the Norwegian research isn't that females shouldn't get checked. While mammograms do identify some early-stage cancers that would not develop, and those females undergo treatment still – "you can't pick and choose which ones are going to be a problem or not and so there is going to be an element of overtreatment," Bernik stated.
"I think we should continue screening and work toward ways of potentially trying to figure out who needs more extensive surgery," Bernik added. Though there might be a need to visit Canadian drugstore online for some medications.
