There are plenty of people in this world that has to sleep with someone that snores all night long. These people are always wondering why the snoring doesn’t wake the person that is doing it up, especially when it is keep them up all night long listening to it.

 This isn’t the only thing that people have to deal with when sleeping in the same room as another person. Some people have to deal with the night time teeth grinding that many people have and that can be just as bad as listening to someone snore all night long.

In fact, this is a completely subconscious action on their part and they will probably argue with you about it in the morning if you say anything. Unless they have issues with sore jaws or teeth or find that they have a persistent headache every morning after they wake up, they might actually think you are the one grinding your teeth and not them.

 You can suggest that they use a mouth guard when they sleep and, if they are aware that they are the ones grinding their teeth, this may actually work out very well for both of you. If you feel that it might be more stress related issues rather than anything else causing them to grind their teeth, you might want to take 30 minutes before going to sleep to relax. You can put on some relaxing music and both of you do a simple meditation before lying down. It may not work the first couple of nights, but it will eventually get better the more you do it. This means a better night’s sleep for both you and the person that is grinding their teeth all night long, every single night.
