If you're suffering from acne, you're probably familiar with what a pimple looks like: A red, puffy lump on your face, your chest, or your back filled with white or yellow puss that's just begging to be popped. Unfortunately, popping pimples is not a good way to cure pimples, as this can actually infect the pimple and smear the bacteria-ridden liquid all across your face, causing even more pimples. Not only is this disgusting, it worsens your acne and sometimes causes scarring. Thus, you need to find a way to cure pimples that doesn't require picking.

Now,Three Great Ways to Cure Pimples Articles understand the curing pimples and curing acne are not the same thing.  There is no such thing as a cure for acne; there are only ways to control and/or eliminate it.  However, to cure pimples one at a time you simply need to pick the right topical or internal treatment that will clear it away within a matter of a few days.

The most unfortunate thing about pimples is that they usually pop up when they're least welcome, such as before a big date, prom, your wedding, or senior pictures.

The good news is, there are ways you can reduce the size of pimples and lighten their appearance as well as cover them up before you need to go somewhere.  Here's three ways of doing that:

1. To decrease their size: Put ice on the pimple for 15-20 minutes.  This will help take the pain away and reduce the swelling it's causing.

2. To lighten the appearance: Use a topical cream, such as benzoyl peroxide or a sulfur treatment like the ones sold through Proactiv.

3. To cover up: The secret to covering a pimple is to not use too much cover up.  Believe it or not, it just gets chunky on your face, dries up, and falls right off, exposing the pimple.  Use a tiny bit of cover up, apply it with a clean fingertip or Q-tip, and dust with a little powder.
