Established on the Pony Express Trail in 1996,Staying Entertained in Eagle Mountain Articles Eagle Mountain began with just 250 people.  Huge growth has been witnessed over recent years.  Because of this expansion, informational websites have had trouble keeping up with current population information.   The official website for Eagle Mountain estimates the population to be close to 22,000 so we’ll go with that.  The city has been adjusting to the boom and is planning for the future. 

There are about 4,500 houses in Eagle Mountain.  Renters make up a small 1.73% of the population the median income is around $65,260.  Eagle Mountain homes are very affordable and just fewer than 300 are listed for sale.  Many major businesses are within an hour’s commute as Provo is 22 miles south and Salt Lake City is 35 miles north. 

In their leisure time, many adults spend time at the Ranches Golf Club, teens spend time at the Pony Express Skate Park, and families spend time seeing shows at the new Silverlake Amphitheater.  In the summertime the whole city enjoys Pony Express Days, celebrating the Pony Express with entertainment, food, and fun.  Eagle Mountain will usually have a high temperature of 90 in July and a low temperature of 15 in January.  Close to 11 inches of rain and 27 inches of snow fall annually.
