There can be so much stress and frustration in hunting for the right apartment! That is why you need to be clear about what is it you want as well as what your plan of action will be.

Apartments are everywhere but finding the right one for you is not the easiest thing in the world! Before you get overwhelmed with the tasks ahead of you it is essential that you plan and strategize. Before you call about any apartment or set foot in one you need to know in your own mind what is it you are wanting in a new place to call home. Narrow your focus on what is most important for your living space. Is it having a big kitchen? Is it floor space? Is it lots of windows? It is closet space? It is having indoor parking? How much storage space do you need? Do you require a building that allows cats or dogs? Buy a notepad for yourself and use it to jot down information about the apartments you inquire about as well as the ones you go to view. The more you see the easier it is for the details to blur together which is why taking notes and being well organized is so essential to your efforts. Write down the pertinent information about each residence on a separate page. This will give you something to refer back to when the need arises. Always jot down the address of the place as well as the name of the landlord and contact information. 

The more you can record about each place the better it will be for future reference. Write down the size of the flat, the layout of it and what you perceived to be the good and bad points about it.
