Laminate counters: Laminate is a versatile product that is one of the most economical materials for countertops. It isn't solid like some of the aforementioned types, but rather has a veneer type of coating covered a compressed product. Laminate can resemble wood, Corian, granite or marble. It resists stains, is easy to maintain and comes in hundreds of color choices.
