Custom closet doors are available in just about every style imaginable. The key is to find a style that reflects your own personal decorating aesthetic and then purchase accordingly. You can choose from many different options.

One style for custom closet doors is the barn door style. These look like they belong at the entrance to an old fashioned barn. They are available in different colors. They look especially lovely in natural wood.

Another option for a custom entrance to your closet is to install shoji screen door. The frame on these is usually black, but can also be found in other colors like brown or burnt cherry. The screen portion is usually white or cream. They provide an almost translucent look to the entrance to your closet. They are even good when used as an entrance door to an ensuite bathroom.

For a really unique option you can also consider using a mural door as the entrance to your clothing storage area. These can be either double panels that slide one behind the other or a single drapery style mural. You can even find murals made of photographs that can be used on your closet.

If you can not find a custom styled door that meets your needs you can always consider using fabric. You can coordinate your fabric choice to match with your bedding or with your carpet. If your bedding is patterned then pick one color out of the bedding colors and use that color in your fabric curtains.

They can be placed on a push rod along the top of your closet and then can just be pushed side to side when access is needed to your closet area. This option may not work in a living room or hallway, but works great in a bedroom
