The bath safety seat is another product that you can invest in to make your bathroom safer. This is basically a bench that you can mount onto your bathtub which allows you to sit down while taking a bath, much like the soaking tub and walk in tub. There are even some versions on the market that are motorized so they can lower you into the water and raise you back out when you have finished with your bath. These can be pricey, but are usually less expensive than buying a brand new tub that has this feature.
