It can be a huge hassle to move into a new house. This is especially the case if one has been living in their current home for a long time. There is so much to pack; and then load up into cars,Dumpster Rental for Moving Houses Articles trucks, and vans; and then carry into a new house; and then unpack; and then find a place for everything in the new house; and on and on. Sometimes it just does not seem like it is worth the hassle to get it from point A to point B.

There is in fact a great solution for this moving dilemma. Simply don’t bring it with you. Just don’t. Rent a dumpster and throwaway anything you do not need or want. Now is the time to get rid of all of the clutter that has been crowding your life and to start fresh without all the junk. Rarely is a person afforded an opportunity to literally do a through cleaning and so there is no reason to miss out.

First of all call up a dumpster company and have them bring out an appropriate size. They are not expensive to rent and so go with one big enough to fit all your old junk. You will be amazed the volume of stuff you end up tossing so go big or go home. They company will bring it out on the back of one of their trucks and drop it off in the driveway or in front of the house. If you plan on doing some landscaping before selling the property see if you can get them to leave it on the front lawn. Wherever it is going to be most easy to toss the stuff you do not want.

Start in the garage. Just start at one end and either pack something up or throw it away. If you do not think you want it toss it in the dumpster. If you think you might want it but cannot remember a time when you actually used it, bin it. If you don’t know what it is, where it came from, or how it works put it in the container. Next move to the next room to pack up. It will feel great and at the end of the day you will have far less stuff to transport.

The one other option besides the dumpster and the moving truck is stuff that is eligible for donation. This means stuff in good condition and working order. Not broken furniture, not ragged clothing but quality stuff that can help those in need.

I can assure you that Goodwill and the Salvation Army don’t want to end up throwing your stuff away for you. You may feel better donating something instead of throwing it away but it is not doing any good if the charity cannot use it. A dumpster rental before moving is the best way to simplify your life and minimize your excessive possessions. There may be some pangs of nostalgia as you throw things away but once you are settled in your new digs it will be so nice to be less cluttered.
