On the back of such great appetite for home improvements, Everest has today announced the launch of a new home improvement advice website called ‘clearmagazine.co.uk’ to complement its glossy home improvement magazine ‘CLEAR’.

Clear magazine is packed with inspirational articles and advice to help readers to get the best out of their homes. Articles already online include a guide to creating the perfect kitchen, a selection of mouthwatering reciples, a ‘what style is your home?’ guide and an interview with the bestselling author Rosie Thomas.

Much of the content on the website will reflect Everest’s research into the key factors behind the surge in spending on home improvements - most notably people wanting to modernise their property and reduce energy bills.

Duncan Bland, marketing director at Everest Home Improvements, comments: “In times of economic uncertainty we generally see people focusing on improvements that are more likely to add value to a property, such as a lick of paint, a new kitchen or replacing drafty old windows.  The CLEAR website and magazine are great ways for homeowners to gain free access to useful tips and recommendations to make sure their money is spent on home improvements that will add real value.”

Everest also offer free subscription to Clear Magazine’s glossy magazine through their website. The new site will provide online access to the full magazine content.
