Nilfisk C 120.2-6 PAD Pressure Washer Review

The C 120.2-6 PAD is an additional entry level,  Nilfisk pressure cleaner.

The coupling system between the hose and gun has an anti-twist and swivel union, ensuring convenient handling of the hose without any hassle. Nilfisk promotes itself as delivering 'professional cleaning equipment that meets and exceeds the expectations of our customers'. Thats big talk from the Danes.  Input water up to 40 degC can be used, but generally the cleaning performance with cold water is  good enough. The unit has a 120 bar maximum output pressure . It has a water throughput of 520 litres per hour allowing you to tackle the most demanding household cleansing tasks. Power  comes from the performance, maintenance-free 1700W universal electric motor. Instead of a detergent tank the Nilfisk C 120.2-6 PAD comes with a narrow suction tube that can draw chemical straight from the container. The detergent is applied at reduced pressure. The durable axial pump provides sufficient water pressure with more than acceptable efficiency and acceptable noise. The pump is constructed from aluminium. That may seem obvious however some makers manufacture the pumps from tough polymer.

The unit, as the majority do, is upright during operation. The unit weighs  8.4kg with dimensions of 267 x 276 x 816 (L x W x H)(mm), perfect where storage is limited. This washer has 6m of quality high pressure hose giving it a reasonable reach.  As is the norm for a machine of this standard it comes with details such as a fine mesh filter before the pump to protect it from debris and a high-pressure overload relief. Accessories include a detergent dosing bottle and foam applicator, Vario nozzle, Powerspeed nozzle, washing brush, Patio Plus cleaner and 15 m drain and tube cleaner. Another valuable feature is the  auto start / stop so the motor and pump are only activated when required . This saves water, detergent, electricity and extending the longevity of the unit.

For a lower level machine the C 120.2-6 PAD has many excellent features and adequate power for most domestic jobs such as cleaning the garden tools, driveway, car, bike etc. This is a high pressure washer that not only looks great, but it feels brilliant to hold and operate too. We like the C 120.2-6 PAD very much, and we think that it gives a lot more than the other power washers.
