Purchase Sliding Or Fitted Wardrobes And Alter Your Bedroom

I wanted to spend a lot of time shopping around for brand new wardrobes for our new house. I was prepared to spend more money to purchase quality wardrobes that would last a lot of years. I already had the rest of the bedroom furniture so needed to find matching furniture.

Fortunately for us the master bedroom had a wide alcove which would easily accommodate a double wardrobe, so I didn't have to worry too much about size, but I was a little dubious whether one wardrobe would be enough for us. Nonetheless two wardrobes would take up more space and the room could feel very small.

It seemed that a normal double size wardrobe would not be enough to accomodate both our needs. even with liberal trespass across to my husband's side of the wardrobe from my clothes (which he generously claimed not to mind). Luck was on my side, however. I saw a triple wardrobe that would squeeze into the alcone precisely. It had two generous double-fronted wardrobes on either side with a single in the middle which had been given over to shelving and drawers.

Choosing the finish was all that was left. If I placed mirrored doors on the outside then this would lend weight to the sense of space. A light pine wood is what I settled with in the end though. There was a mirrored door to the central section of the wardrobe, so I felt we had the best of all worlds.

The children's rooms were less of a problem as a single wardrobe for each would easily fit all their clothes. But because their rooms were very small, I decided to buy the wardrobes with drawers and shelves included. One of the shelves or drawers could be used for toys and games which would free up more space in the room. The new wardrobes are fashionable, have been built with expert workmanship and have the perfect finish. Even more, they suit our needs down to the ground and will still be useful in ten years time.
