If you’re just moving into a new home or apartment, you’re probably going to need lamps for some of the rooms. The reason that you might need some is that you really don’t know how bright any of the rooms can be. Having your bedroom on the north side of the home means that it will get darker much earlier than if you were on the southern side of the home. All of these subtle, but important things have to be taken into consideration because you’re going to have to keep your home bright. I suggest the first thing you do is go directly to some local yard sales. You should be able to find a lot of them on the weekends. You should go to a grocery store on Friday evening and take a look at their bulletin boards. People will post their yard sale information on these boards and you should be able to find a half dozen of them. Make sure that you show up early and you should be able to find really cheap lamps. You shouldn’t have to pay more than a few dollars for them.

Another great place to look is on eBay. This is where people can list used stuff that they have for sale and it is an auction. You just bid the price you want to pay and you can get a really cheap price. I’ve bought things on their for a $1 because no one else was bidding on them.
