At our house, we've raised sweaty grimy greasy stains to a creative art form! This reality, plus a modest spending budget, meant that I had to discover a method to eliminate stains and maintain the usefulness of apparel. This is a formulation that I have used with whites, denim jeans and colorful clothing. Although it hasn't been used as much on delicate fabric, I would not think twice to give it a try if I had a outfit which was not being used due to an unsightly stain. On the occasion that a mark is very firmly set that it won't be removed, I sometimes dye it a darker color or send it to the scrap bin.

My family has raised sweaty grimy greasy stains to a creative art form! This fact,Whitening And Stain Remover Soak Articles along with a limited spending budget, meant that I had to find a way to get rid of stains and preserve the usefulness of apparel. I’ve used this recipe on jeans, colorful clothing and whites. I haven't applied it on many delicate fabrics, but if the garment was useless because of an unattractive stain, I'd personally try it out. Occasionally, I will run across a stain so firmly embedded within the fabric that it remains. In this instance, the garment either gets dyed darker or tossed into the scrap bin.

You will require two 5-gallon buckets with lids.

Combine:

* 1 c. hydrogen peroxide

* 2 c. vinegar

* 2 c. borax

* 2 c. washing soda

* 1 c. OxiClean®

* 1 c. Cascade Complete All-in-One Gel

* 1-2 gals of HOT water

Carefully pour the HOT water into your blended ingredients while stirring the mixture. Make sure you stir well or the powder will clump into hard lumps. If this happens, you will be able to smash the clumps up against the side of the bucket with a wooden spoon. Place the stained fabric into a five gallon bucket. If I've got a lot of items, I sometimes use 2 buckets, one for whites and another for colors. Pour the liquid over the fabric within the bucket. If you use 2 containers, divide the formula among them equally. Add more hot water so the fabrics are submerged. Put the lid on the pail and let it sit until morning.

The following morning, pour the contents of the bucket into your washing machine (or wash tub) and send them through the rinse and spin cycle. Then, wash the clothes as you would regularly. This works well for socks, dingy undershirts and linens. In case you shop garage and yard sales, this is a formula worth trying in order that fabrics might be restored.

This solution has evolved over time. You can adjust it to suit your own individual needs.
