Automated blogs can be a great source of targeted traffic.  There are definite pros to consider as well as cons to this approach.  Over the past few years I have built a number autoblogs that automatically post 1 - 4 posts per day.  These post are fully automated, without any additional input, once your blog is set up.Beyond a hands off approach to blog building there are a number of benefits.  When done properly an automatic blog can easily generate 150 - 200 visitors a day.  Having even a couple hundred of targeted visitors can increase your possibilities enormously. Not having to write post yourself every day is a huge advantage. You will be able to build a site with hundreds to thousands of pages targeting long tail keywords.Increasing the number of pages that get indexed by using automated blogs means you will increase the number of ways someone can get to your site. Being indexed by the search engines for multiple keywords increases the targeted traffic coming to your site.  You should be able to convert these visitors into customers.  By now you should realize the benefits of automated blogging are definitely worth investigating.As far as the cons of building a blog like this read on. Duplicate content? Oh no, my site will be banned or slammed or sand-boxed that seems to be one of the complaints heard frequently.  You only have to do a search on a keyword or two to know that that is not the case. Duplicate content on the same site is penalized though.Most people dont have a clue of how to use the content they get from other sources.  The duplicate content myth has been debunked by numerous people, in fact, I have used the same article to submit for 100's of article directories and it has been indexed by the search engines. Dupe content does not always rank well in the search engines. But that does not matter in our case.Automated blogs have many advantages. Content is being added on your schedule without you writing a word. Ebay auctions, Amazon products and even videos can be placed on autopilot.  With this type of automatic blogging your site will grow organically every day.  Search engines love sites which grow over time. Since you have set up the site to receive quality content your visitors will find value in your site.
