These are the most crucial aspect of the web because they get you from place to place online. It is not a complex idea, all you need to to know is that is how you travel online.
A link has two distinct ends. These ends are called anchors, and the start anchor is referred to as the source anchor, while the place that it ends up is called the destination anchor. The destination anchor can in fact be any web resources such as images, videos, programs or HTML documents.
There are endless reasons for links. One way to connect with more information about something is to put a link in a document. If a writer wants to make different info available to alternating search engines they can do it with links. Sometimes a link will take you to the same exact document only in another language. Another usage would be to point someone to the same stuff in another type of media. So instead of watching a video about something you can see still pictures and read the print.
