For Rent promotes Shannyn Wellington to Southeast Regional Manager, where she will oversee seven For Rent Magazine markets and 14 For Rent publications.

Norfolk,For Rent® Promotes former National Sales Manager, Shannyn Wellington, to Southeast Regional Manager Articles VA—(September 8, 2006) – For Rent, a division of Trader Publishing Company, the nation's leading apartment resource for locating over 40,000 apartments for rent, announces the promotion of Shannyn Wellington as Southeast Regional Manager. In her new role, Shannyn will work out of Orlando and will be oversee the print and internet sales efforts for seven For Rent Magazine markets and 14 For Rent publications.

“I am very excited to take on the role of Southeast Regional Manager,” says Wellington. Since my start with the company, I believe I have gained practical and strong operational knowledge and sales skills. I will do my best to continue to lead the progress in the Southeast region.”

Since 1998, Shannyn has enjoyed a successful career with For Rent. She began with the company as an Account Executive in Denver, helping property managers list apartments for rent in For Rent Magazine. Her leadership skills were quickly recognized and in 2000, Shannyn was promoted to General Sales Manager, overseeing For Rent’s Denver market and later adding the Colorado Springs markets to that list. As General Sales Manager for Denver, her office was awarded best overall operations for two consecutive years in 2001 and 2002. While overseeing this market, she was recognized as a President’s Club member four years in a row. The President’s Club award is given to For Rent’s most outstanding employees, acknowledging them for their selling efforts.

“Shannyn has definitely been an asset to For Rent,” says Judy Gogol, Vice President of Sales for the Southeast, North Midwest and Mid-Atlantic region. “As a result of her many achievements as General Sales Manager, she was promoted to the position of National Sales Manager in 2005. In this position, Shannyn created the National Sales Department to provide service for For Rent’s largest clients. I am confident that we will continue to see the same success from Shannyn in her new position that she has given For Rent in previous years.”

As the Southeast Regional Manager, Shannyn will help the For Rent offices in her region improve their overall performance of operations including sales of print and internet products, circulation and distribution. She will also help expand the offices in her region in a cost effective manner and develop managers and staff for advancements within For Rent.
