Attract More Clients Through Repetition

Effective marketing is about consistency -- consistency that is gained through repetition.

Marketing dictates that you build on repetition -- the number of times your profitable target audience repeatedly hears, sees, or experiences your message. The value of this cannot be understated.

Here's a little exercise to demonstrate how frequency leads to the ability to recall messages.

Without thinking about it too much, try to sing the 12 Days of Christmas, starting with the fifth day. Odds are you can do this with very little trouble. Now try it with the Twelfth Day. It's much more difficult for most people. In fact, the vast majority gets it wrong.

The point is that the song repeats the First Day most often and the Twelfth Day least often. ThereforeBusiness Management Articles, through this repetition -- or frequency -- the First Day is correctly recalled by many more people. This plays out proportionally for each of the subsequent days.

This simple demonstration shows you how frequency is one of the keys to getting your message to stick in your target's mind.
