If like most companies you have Pantone colors in your logo that are important to your company image,Color Coordinating Your Promotional Gifts Articles this article could be of great value to you. Many businesses like to show their colors through their business gifts but if you are not careful, you could be very disappointed. Even if you use only one supplier for all of your gifts, there is a chance you may not get the look you are looking for. If color is important, work closely with your supplier and explain to them what you are trying to achieve. They should be able to find the right promotional products for you. Tell them what Pantones are important and they should even be able to color coordinate your promotional gifts.

Many business people incorrectly assume that the trim color of a pen or umbrella shown in a printed catalogue or online matches theirs perfectly just to be disappointed when they receive their printed gifts. This is because it is not possible to perfectly match Pantones on a process printed catalogue page or on a website. Usually the colors are quite close but if you purchase a white pen with blue trim featured on one page and an umbrella with white and blue panes from another page and then a blue mug from another, you many find that the blues are all quite different.

If you are purchasing a selection of different gifts for your next promotion, it is a good idea to work closely with one supplier. If time allows, ask to see samples of each product of interest so that you can ensure that the colors are right. Again, a good supplier should be able to save you a lot of time at this stage as they will know which products are closest to what you are looking for.

Once you have found the promotional products which are perfect for you, choose one of the products and have a batch printed. If you are happy with the results, then your supplier has a product they can use to match to the print to the other products. You see, a specific pantone could look different when printed on different products, especially colored products. Mugs, for example are particularly difficult to print because of the intense heat required to cure the printed mugs. Printing mugs to an exact pantone is not only a real science, it also takes a lot of professional guess work by the printer. Having a product in hand that they know you are happy with will help your supplier print other products in a very close if not exact color.

A lot of people are happy with colors that match closely. If, however, you must have exact color matches and you are spending a lot of money on your marketing campaign taking these addition precautions will ensure that you are happy with the end products.
