How to make your brochure's life longer

Your marketing collaterals are very important tools as they provide your target clients with the information they need to get to know you and your products and services. The longer your target clients see and read what you have to offer,Extending the Life of Your Brochure Articles the more they will be inclined to try you out.

It is therefore important that you are able to provide your target clients not only with effective marketing collaterals in your brochure printing for example; you should also be able to make your print brochures last longer.

Since you are investing in the design and what you have inside your printed brochures anyway, why not go a step further and make them last for months and even years on end. The longer they last, the more chances they have of getting people attracted to your offer.

Here then are simple strategies to help you make your brochure printing have a much longer life:

1- Use excellent quality paper stock for your collaterals. Moreover, we mean high-grade materials. The life of your print brochures lie on the type of paper stock you use. Thus, your choice of paper should be able to withstand frequent handling and other physical strains such as water spillage and dirt contact, in addition to having them last for a very long time.

2- Improve on your cover. Your cover is the one thing that keeps your inside pages free from any exposure to dust and liquid spills. So make sure that you have a tough one. Providing a thicker paper stock for your cover can help increase its resistance from the usual wear and tear, as well as heavy deterioration.

3- Invest in long lasting inks. Not only should you pay for quality paper stock, you should also put in money on your inks. For your target audience to be able to read your text and copy for a longer time, they must be able to actually go through them. How can that be possible if they can barely see your text? High quality printer inks do not smudge and can stick to the paper permanently. Ask your print provider to help you choose high quality inks that can resist moisture and fading with time.

4- Design your brochures with a longer period in mind. This means designing your brochure printing with layouts and images that never gets old. Do not choose styles that can become passé after only a month or two. Rather, when designing your print brochures, be sure to integrate a design that would still be fashionable even after a year or so.

In addition, as always, a good rule of thumb is to keep your brochures simple and functional. Do not overindulge in your design and layout. The purpose of your collateral is to get your target audience to read and understand your message even if it takes them a long time to do it.
