Choosing Your Wedding Style

Choosing a style for a wedding is one of the most important steps in planning a wedding. Once the style is chosen, the theme and the color palette are easier to decode. The style of the wedding should reflect the bride´s personality.

Every bride has her own style and this style should come across in every aspect of her wedding. Even though the groom has a style of his own, most grooms are more than happy to let their brides make most of the wedding décor decisions.
Many things will depend on the style of wedding you choose, from the wedding dress, the wedding décor, the rings, the details, the invitations, the favors, and all the little things that will make this a special and memorable day.
For those brides that are spontaneous, simple and authentic, a simple gown without many details is appropriate. This simple style requires an unfussy hairdo, for example, letting the hair flowing loose around the face and using natural flowers as accessories. The setting for these ceremonies could be a garden, the beach, a lake, or any other natural setting. The wedding flowers can be in red, green, white, yellow, or other earthy colors.
Another style of wedding can be for the elegant, traditional, and conservative bride. This bride will probably choose a wedding dress embroidered with lace, crystals or tiny beads. As a hairdo, an up-do accessorized with a tiara is an excellent choice.  The setting for this wedding can be a hotel, a country club or any other inside reception venue. These wedding´s decorations can be elegant and traditional, with roses and lilies centerpieces, and Tiffany´s plate settings. The color palette for a traditional wedding can include gold, beige, white, and silver.
If the bride´s style is feminine and romantic, her wedding should reflect it. A romantic bride will likely choose a princess style dress, with a flowing skirt and a beaded bodice. As a hairstyle she can wear her hair long and flowing or in an unstructured up-do. A romantic wedding can take place in practically any setting as long as the decorations and details are perfectly planned. These details can include lights, candles, flowers, and charming and magical details.
