Last Minute Weddings

The excitement of a last minute wedding will be thrilling for the bride and groom.  If they have trouble booking a reservation with their favorite house of worship, restaurant, or bed and breakfast, there are many other possibilities.

When the bride and groom decide that it is necessary to plan a last minute wedding, they still want it to be the most memorable experience possible.  The normal planning details that come before the wedding, such as choosing an engagement ring, purchasing and mailing invitations, and bachelor, bachelorette, and rehearsal dinners still have to be organized.  Because there is less time, many of these details will have to be delegated to family, friends and relatives.

Family and friends can be helpful in interviewing all necessary wedding professionals such as clergymen, caterers, bakers, florists, musicians, photographers and videographers.  They can compare prices and availability of wedding venues and reception sites.  Addressing wedding invitations, making wedding favors, making arrangements for out of town guests, and decorating the reception site can be accomplished quickly with help from close friends.

The bride and groom may find out that attendants may or may not have enough time and money to make travel and lodging arrangements quickly as well as be available on the chosen wedding date.  The couple can assume responsibility for some of the expenses, so that the attendants will be able to participate on short notice.

The excitement of a last minute wedding will be thrilling for the bride and groom.  If they have trouble booking a reservation with their favorite house of worship, restaurant, or bed and breakfast, there are many other possibilities.  Their wedding venue can be their parents’ home, at the Justice of the Peace, in a park, by the ocean, or in the mountains.  Their reception can take place at a hotel, in a country club, or at a neighbor’s house.  A quick wedding, shared in the loving company of family and friendsBusiness Management Articles, can be just as memorable as one that was years in the planning.
