Make Your Bridesmaid Wedding Speeches Memorable

Bridesmaid wedding speeches should be personable and heartfelt.  There are so many canned speeches that you could sometimes go to three or four weddings a year and hear the same speech.  Don't make that trite speech with the same bible verses used in every other wedding speech.

Bridesmaid wedding speeches should be personable and heartfelt.  There are so many canned speeches that you could sometimes go to three or four weddings a year and hear the same speech.  Don't make that trite speech with the same bible verses used in every other wedding speech.  It is important to keep it short and sweet, but humorous and touching.  Sharing a story of a special moment between you and the bride is always nice.  Make sure it is a personal story, but not a private one.   Also consider your audience.  There may be kids present or elderly relatives who may not need to know too much about some wild times their loved one may have had.  Besides, you don't want to be guilty of a gaucherie on the most important day of your best friend's life.  That would give a new meaning to the term "blushing bride."

To make a bridesmaid wedding speech memorable talk about how much you and the bride have meant to each other.   You may be sisters, best friends or classmates, but surely you have some history that will make for a cute or fun story.  You may want to practice at least once at home to get your thoughts in order, but if at all possible try to speak from the heart and not from a piece of paper.  Also as an added bonus to make this speech that much more memorable speak directly to the groom and use this as your last line for example:  "MarkArticle Search, Michelle is my best friend and you know I love her.  The good news is you are getting a real jewel.  The bad news is you are getting me too!"
