However,MLM / Network Maketing... Top 10 Things I Wish I knew Articles there are at least 10things I wish I knew before starting my networkmarketing, mlm, affiliate marketing, home basedbusiness, what ever you want to call it business. Letme save you the many, many years of searching, hundredsof hours of trainings, and thousands upon thousands ofdollars spent on flying to seminars, buying audiotapes, CDs, DVDs, and books it took me to find thesethings out. If you want to be successful in networkmarketing you must keep these things in mind when firststarting out.

#10 YOU MUST HAVE A SINCERE DESIRE TO MAKE BIG MONEY

If you do not have the desire to do what ever it takes -for as long as it takes to make your businesssuccessful DON'T EVEN START. You will only giveyourself excuses of why you are not being successfuland end up not only quitting on yourself… but mostlikely blaming your sponsor, your company, your cat andyour dog… for your lack of desire. Desire = NEVER QUITAttitude!

#9 YOU MUST COMMIT TO DOING YOUR BUSINESS A MINIMUM OF1 HR/DAY

In reality you would want to spend not lessthan 10-12 hours per week. That does not include yourtraining, reading personal development books, orcleaning your office!

#8 YOU MUST SPEAK TO OTHER PEOPLE EVERYDAY

There are different thoughts on how many people you should totalk per day. All the top leaders I have ever comeacross say a minimum of 10, but most have talked to atleast 30+. You have to decide how fast you want yourbusiness to grow… the more people that hear yourmessage per day that faster your business will grow. And remember when speaking with someone EXITEMENT iskey!

#7 UNDERSTAND WEALTH

All wealth can be traced back tospending time with the "right" people. The "right"people don't get stuck in getting started. They see avision of what could be and race towards it!

#6 YOU MUST UNDERSTAND HOW PEOPLE FAIL

If you understand that most people fail because they spend toomuch time talking to the wrong people, you would knowto only look spend time with the right ones. THE RIGHTones don't get suck in getting started, have the timeand money to start their business or find the time andmoney. THE RIGHT ARE COACHABLE!

#5 DEFINE WHAT WILL CAUSE YOU TO STOP

Ask yourself what will cause you to quit. Define the things you are notwilling to do.  This definition of what would stop you…must be done with the attitude of "NEVER QUIT" in mind. Then in your road to success avoid doing any of thesethings and go around the stumbling blocks some elseputs in front of you.

#4 CREATE A GOAL BIGGER THAN YOURSELF

Put in front of you that what you are doing will help other people. Setas your goal helping others and then set out to achieveit. When it is no longer about you, but it's abouthelping others you will find focus and this new foundfocus will carry you through the down times.

# 3 YOU MUST BE COACHABLE

If you think you know everything…

your wrong! What I have found out is thatno one person has all the answers. No matter how muchexperience you might have you must remain "coachable".

# 2 PICKING YOUR SPONSOR

You know the main reason mostpeople fail in network marketing is that they onlyreceive training from their sponsor. Signing up with asponsor that doesn't lead you to the right training -can only lead your new business to disaster. Sponsor toRookie training is not a good thing. The industry hasalways left it up to your sponsor to get you all theinformation you might need as a newbie. Unfortunately, most sponsors are "rookies" themselves! So make sureyour sponsor has a personal relationship with theleaders of the company. Make sure you get their contactinformation. If you are already in a business make sureyou network with the leaders of the company at companyevents. Learning from someone that has "been there, done that" is the easiest way to succeed!

#1 MUST NEVER RUN OUT OF PEOPLE TO TALK TO

This is something you must know upfront. You can't count onbecoming a super star by only talking to five to tenfriends. Number 8 sort of tells you this, but if youmake a list of 100 friends and business associates…what are you going to do after the first week? Thereare many ways to never run out of people to talk.Leaving a flyer on a bunch of cars at Wal-Mart is notgoing to do it! You either have a huge number of"resources" - that's biz talk for 'people'…or you haveto go out and find more resources. In my next article Iwill let you know more about how to never run out ofpotential business associates!
